My Heartfelt Mission
… to provide HOPE to you, the griever, whose heart has been broken as the result of a significant emotional loss in your life and to guide you through an action program where you will learn many tools to engage back into a fulfilled and joyous life.
The Grief Recovery Method®: Grief Support Group is a program which guides and helps you make the correct action choices to move beyond the pain of your loss. The sessions are conducted in a safe environment allowing you to deal with your loss and to take action to help in the completion of the pain. Group sessions are held once a week for eight weeks. Each session is two hours long.
The option of individual sessions is also available for those who are uncomfortable with group sessions. Individual sessions are held once a week for seven weeks. Each individual session is one hour long.
By participating in this program, you may experience a great transformation where your life may become more enriched and fulfilled.
As part of the GRM program we will focus on the Myths About Grief and how they affect us throughout our lives. Each participant will receive The Grief Recovery Handbook which provides the action plan tools to help move beyond loss.
The Grief Recovery Method® uses The Grief Recovery Handbook (released by HarperCollins in 2009), and an accompanying format, both written by John W. James and Russell Friedman, founders of The Grief Recovery Institute®, as texts for the Support Group.
